ADMISSION
   

Admission dates are announced through newspapers, and the admission tests are conducted from March onward. The parents are requested to observe the rules and directives concerning registration and admission given on the proceeding pages. (The rules are subject to change under the directives of the Ministry of Education, Dubai,
U.A.E.)

ADMISSION AGE

K.G-I:            Minimum 3 years of-age.
K. G-II:          Minimum 4 years of age.
Grade-I:        Minimum 5 years of age.

Age shall be counted as on 15th Sept. each year according to Gregorian calendar, while days and months shall be dropped.

Date of birth on passport and birth certificate of the students should correspond with each other.

Re-admission and entrance test are conducted in the beginning of the academic year till 15th Nov. each year.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

The following documents are required to be attached to the admission Form:

  • A true photocopy of the birth certificate (KG I, KG II and Grade 1)
  • A photocopy of the valid passport of the student with a valid residence Visa permission including the student's name.
  • Four photographs (size 4x6 cms.

    (TWO MORE PHOTOGRAPHS IN PROPER SCHOOL UNIFORM ARE TO BE PROVIDED AFTER ADMISSION)
  • Original transfer certificate for those who are coming from abroad. It should be in English.

Original transfer certificate (TC) should be attested by the following:

  • Ministry of Education or the Education Bureaus of the Country.
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • The Embassy or the Consulate of the U.A.E. where the same certificate is issued.
  • Students transferred from a U.A.E. local school will be admitted only after the approval of Education Zone. Discontinuation of studies should not exceed more than two weeks. These students must produce the transfer certificate at the time of admission failing which they will not be granted admission.
  • Discontinuation period should not exceed one month for the student transferred from abroad to a U.A.E. school.
  • Note : - These rules are subject to change as per requirement of the Ministry of Education, Dubai-U. A. E.
  • Mark Sheet of matriculation examination will be required for admission to college classes.
  • Students with 65% marks or above in S.S.C. are eligible for admission to Science Section (Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering) and those with *C* Grade will be offered admission to "Commerce" or "Humanities" groups
